Members have the chance to display their works in a number of locations in the Twin Cities area. One frequent exhibit space is the Textile Center. Past exhibits have included ornaments, and clocks and other themed group projects.

A previous display at Wayzata Public Library

We have also had pieces displayed in the Textile Center’s display booth at the State Fair. The guild regularly exhibits in many community spaces, such as regional libraries.

We currently have pieces on display at the Walker Library and update the display periodically with new pieces.

We also demonstrate at other locations as time permits and by member interest and availability.

Sales Opportunities.

Members participate in art events such as “Art-A-Whirl” and exhibits, such as at the Bloomington Art Center, that provide opportunities not only to show but also to sell their work. The Guild has participated in Art-A-Whirl since 2010. They are fabulously fun, very rewarding , have lots of creative energy and provide a really great time for all involved. The demonstrations by guild members attracted a lot of attention from inquisitive visitors.

Minnesota State Fair:

For the past several years we have demonstrated polymer clay techniques for one day of the fair in the Creative Activities building.  The guild sponsors four awards for polymer clay work, with three prizes in each of the categories. Clay Squared also sponsors additional awards in the same categories.
